Utah...Life Elevated!

We got up early on Wednesday and said goodbye to my brother and his wife. Before we left, Carl asked me if I wanted to see a black widow spider. Apparently, they are all over the place in Las Vegas! Yikes! So here's one that was hanging out near my brother's front porch. If you look closely, you can see the red mark on the abdomen; that's how you can tell it's a black widow.

Here's my brother and Liane giving us a good send-off. Can't wait to visit you again!

We drove out of Nevada and had to drive a little bit through the corner of Arizona before we could cross into Utah. At one point it looked like the road was going right into a mountain. We thought...we can't go over it, we can't go under it...we must be going through it! Which is exactly what we did.

Utah was a beautiful drive. Here I am at the Utah visitors' center.

We stayed the night in Salt Lake City. It seems like a very nice city. We did not really do any tourist type stuff here. Instead for dinner we went to a large shopping and dining area and walked around. I was excited to eat a yummy sushi dinner. In the middle of the area where we were walking around there was a park called the Olympic Legacy Park where mini water fountains were shooting up and kids were playing. I couldn't help snapping a few shots of the kids having a blast!

The next morning we got up and headed to Wyoming!
